In September of this year, I participated for the first time in an event / contest rather unique to Washington State. The event / contest is the Washington State Salmon Run. I activated Douglas County, WA as a mobile operation in Waterville, WA and had a great time. I had an on the air converstaion with a Ham that lives in Waterville and we had a very enjoyable conversation and he told me the history of Waterville and a recent event that occured there.
